Yin Lee is an international sound designer and music composer, born and raised in Taiwan.
She always loves to explore any new potential and possibilities for sounds, so after receiving her BFA from the filmmaking department at Taipei National University of the Arts, specialising in sound design, sound editing, dubbing mixing, Foley, dialogue editing, ADR recording as well as mixing, production sound recording and music composing for moving image, she decided to improve herself to a higher level by studying the MA Sound Design course at the National Film and Television School in the UK. She just acquired her MA for Sound Design at NFTS this year, and now she is currently based between London and Taipei, and working on projects internationally.
Her recent fiction short films - ‘Shoal’, was shortlisted in BAFTA Student Film Awards, 2020 and ‘Room for Two’ has been selected for BFI FLARE London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival, 2020. She also worked as a dialogue editor on Amazon Prime’s TV documentary series - ‘Take Us Home: Leeds United’ in 2019.
Having worked in the sound department and music department for over 6 years, she is genuinely passionate about storytelling through sounds and she is always excited about any new challenges!
